The EUREKA! McConnell Science Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring a passion and respect for math and science in our communities! Through hands-on science exploration and outdoor adventure education, we seek to build equity in access to science learning as we advance our mission to inspire the next generation of brilliant scientists, environmental stewards, and innovators!
Description
On Saturday, October 19th, the EUREKA! McConnell Science Museum, along with our friends and supporters, will share an evening of science exploration and fundraising! We are raising funds that will support science education for youth on the Western Slope. We hope that we can count on you to help make our annual fundraiser a success again this year!
This year, our Dinner with a Scientist will feature Ryan Patterson, who began his scientific journey in third grade under the mentorship of John McConnell himself. Ryan achieved national and international acclaim by winning several prestigious science fairs with an invention currently showcased at EUREKA!. Today, he works for a company that uses autonomous drones to deliver life-saving medical supplies. He will share highlights of his latest work in the field of aerospace and drone innovations.
We will be hosting a silent auction with proceeds supporting youth enrollment in science programs at EUREKA! and in the field through our outdoor Environmental Institute and science programs. We thank you in advance for your continued support!
