Greig Ashurst, clinician

Greig Ashurst presents a two-hour lecture on handbell pedagogy in education. This is free, open to the public, and geared towards music educators, handbell directors, and handbell ringers. 

Greig Ashurst is a dynamic conductor who brings over 30 years of teaching and conducting experience  to people of all ages on all instruments. Through his experience in conducting professional orchestras and community bands, school and church choirs, handbell and percussion ensembles, and numerous other instrumental and vocal ensembles, Mr. Ashurst is uniquely positioned to bring unprecedented musical nuance to musicians of all ages and experience levels. He currently serves as the president of Handbell Musicians of America (HMA).
