Behind the Bricks: A Fortifications Expert's Guided Tour of Historic Fort Adams Guided by: John R. Weaver II, Author, A Legacy in Brick and Stone.  John R. Weaver II is a nationally known expert on masonry coastal fortifications. A Legacy in Brick and Stone, is considered the definitive work of this period He consults with National Park Service and several state organizations, training staff and volunteers on fortification technology, and gives presentations around the country. 

Join us for Behind the Scenes Tours and Explore Fort Adams' primary defenses on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 2:30-4:30 and/or Explore Fort Adams' Southern Redoubt on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 2:30-3:30. Both tours will depart at 2:30pm from the visitor center, with the Sunday tour going for 2 hours and the Monday tour for 1 hour.   Both tours will be limited to 20 people.  Please carefully select your ticket options here.
