I would like to invite you to the Chamber Music Academy!
The Chamber groups from the Academy will provide music in community organizations such as retirement centers, orphanages, homeless shelters and any under-served places. This opportunity will be a very meaningful experience for young musicians, and of course, for professional musicians as well.
2024-2025 Season:
Oct 1 , 2024 - April/ early May
- Winter Recital: December 8th , 2024 Saturday At 11 am (with Concordia Chamber Music groups)
Zhang Orchestra Hall, Concordia University Irvine - Final Recital : Tentatively April 12 , 2024 Saturday At 11 am (with Concordia Chamber Music groups)
Zhang Orchestra Hall, Concordia University Irvine - Christmas Outreach: December (date: TBA)
- Spring Outreach: May (date: TBA) - Performing Chamber and Solo pieces
Application deadline: Sep.15th, 2024
- Submit video recording(s) of one or two pieces that demonstrate your highest level of musical achievement, uploaded to YouTube (unlisted) or other similar easily accessible video sharing websites.
- We are looking for participants who have taken lessons over a year. We will form ensemble groups with similar age and performance levels.
Application Fee :$50
Tuition : $ 650
- Each group will have 7-8 coaching sessions with the faculty members from Concordia Chamber Academy.
- Each group should arrange rehearsal times on their own and meet regularly to rehearse in one of the member's homes or any venue.
