On October 5, 2024, the Mobile Airport Authority Foundation invites YOU to compete in the BFM5K on the Runway! Whether you run or walk, everyone is invited to race on the airport’s runway (18/36).
The fun doesn’t stop once the race ends! There will be plenty of Family Fun, including FREE Kids Activities, Food Trucks, Vendors and Music!
ALL proceeds will benefit the Mobile Airport Authority Foundation, which focuses on elevating charitable, educational, and scientific initiatives in the surrounding community.
Participants Pre-Registered by September 27 will be guaranteed a t-shirt on Race Day. Later registrants will receive t-shirts as supplies last.
AWARDS
Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters.
Top three male and female in age groups:
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99.
All fun run finishers will receive a finishers’ ribbon.
PACKET PICKUP INFORMATION
Early pick-up: Friday, October 4, 2024

Race day: pickup between 7 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Jogging strollers are allowed. We ask that jogging strollers start behind the runners to minimize the risk of collisions or congestion at the race. It is free for children riding in a stroller unless they would like to receive a t-shirt. Any child that would like to run/walk or ride in a stroller and receive the t-shirt must be a registered participant.
