Welcome to the ultimate Fat Bike adventure at the Cannon Beach Fat Bike Festival 2024! Join us for a weekend filled with thrilling events as we pedal through the scenic landscapes and charming community of Cannon Beach. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just getting started, there's something for everyone at this year's festival.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Beach Bike Ride: Kick off the festivities on Friday evening with packet pick-up and a social gathering at Public Coast Brewing Co. Get ready for a Fat Bike sunset ride along Ecola Creek and past Haystack Rock, setting the tone for a fantastic weekend.
  • Fat Bike Adventure Quest: Introducing a new and exciting event this year - the Fat Bike Adventure Quest! Blend the thrill of fat biking with the excitement of a scavenger hunt and the challenges of the Amazing Race. Race against the clock individually or team up with a partner to conquer tasks and checkpoints throughout the town.
  • Fat Bike Beach Ride to Hug Point Waterfall: Join us on Saturday afternoon for a guided 13-mile beach ride to the picturesque waterfall at Hug Point. Revel in the scenic beauty as we ride past Haystack Rock and along the old "Oregon Beach Highway."
  • Beach Party: after the beach ride on Saturday afternoon, head to Tolovana Beach for a lively beach party. Enjoy Fat Bike games, local beer sampling, snacks, and camaraderie. Prizes for the Fat Bike Adventure Quest await you here!
  • Klootchy Creek Trails Adventure: On Sunday, experience the thrill of guided mountain bike rides through the Klootchy Creek Trails. Hosted by the Northwest Trail Association, explore this local mountain bike trail system with options for intermediate to advanced riders.

6:30-7:30 pm | Fat Bike Sunset Ride

Saturday, May 18th

12:00 pm-2:30 pm |   New this year – Fat Bike Adventure Quest. The quest will begin with your first clue at the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce, Community Hall,  207 N Spruce St, Cannon Beach, OR 97110

2:30 pm-4:30 pm | Fat Bike Beach Ride to Hug Point Waterfall     

4:30 pm-6:30 pm | Get ready for the ultimate Beach Party bash

Sunday, May 19th

12 pm-2 pm | Guided Mountain Bike Rides @ Klootchy Creek Trails.  (There will be options for Intermediate to Advanced-level riders.  Please check the box w/ your skill level on registration.)

Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce

The Cannon Beach Commercial Club, incorporated on February 19, 1945, formed the Cannon Beach Chamber on October 3, 1968. The Chamber serves local businesses and visitors year-round.

The mission of the Chamber is to promote the economic improvement of Cannon Beach businesses and its surrounding area as a year-round destination resort. This includes a desire to extend a friendly welcome to our visitors and to enhance the quality of life in the community.
