Description
Blessing and BBQ – We’ll come together as a football community for our annual blessing over the players, coaches, team managers, and families as we get ready to enter the season. Following the blessing, we’ll feast on some great BBQ! Pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs will be served, along with donated side dishes, fruit and desserts (see SignUp Genius). And, don’t miss out on our chili cook-off. Want to show off your famous chili? Or, are you more of the chili tasting type? Both are encouraged! We will also be having a friendly corn hole tournament! The grand prize is you get to carry the title of corn hole champion for the entire year!
DATE/TIME: Saturday, August 3rd from 12:00 – 3:00 – (immediately following practice)
LOCATION: SMCHS Lunch Shelter
COST: $25 per family - Event open to ALL football players, families (including siblings), coaches, team managers, etc.
