Our beloved husband and father, Gary Anderson, was diagnosed with FTD at the age of 60 in 2016. In order to give the disease a name and have a little fun, we would call any mishaps or frustrations FUB (f*cked up brain). As a family we decided to blow the lid off this thing to help raise awareness of a disease that no one really knows about. We started our fundraising event in 2018 and created a 501c3 non profit, Gary's FUB Team, so that we could accept donations and hold raffles and silent auction for our cause. Gary lost his battle with FTD in 2019, but his family and friends continue the fight for research, awareness and supporting those impacted by FTD.
Gary's FUB Team Mission: Provide education and awareness to the community about the disease, Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD), support caregivers and those living with the disease and conduct fundraising to support the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD).
