3 Acre Holler has been featured at the Sonoma County Bluegrass Festival, Occidental Center for the Arts, Peacetown concerts in Sebastopol as well as many North Bay venues. They have produced two recordings including a self produced EP called "Don't Overstay Your Welcome" and a second called "Prudence & Wisdom" on Jackalope Records, which features nine original songs and tasteful interpretations of six others.
Fiddle player Paul Shelasky, who is one of the finest fiddlers California has produced. Paul has toured extensively worldwide with various groups and is recognized as a lifetime member of the California Bluegrass Association. Paul has toured and recorded with John Reischman, Laurie Lewis, Kathy Kallick and many others.
Michael Capella plays dobro and sings with 3 Acre Holler. Michael is an acclaimed songwriter in his own right and has produced several recordings of original material including two with his folk/rock band MCB.
Tim Sarter is one of the hardest working bass players in the North Bay and handles the low end of things for 3 Acre Holler. Tim has played a wide variety of musical styles from rock to bluegrass, Celtic rock and folk music.
Performance runs 90 minutes with one 15 minute intermission. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance.
