Description

Are you interested in participating in the Pioneer Poker Run? It's a yearly event where participants take a scenic cruise and collect playing cards at designated checkpoints. The cards are standard playing cards found in any deck. The winner is determined by who has the best five-card poker hand, not by who reaches the finish line first.

The fourth annual Pioneer Poker Run will be held on May 5th. The course will take you through 91 miles of beautiful Northern California and show you some hidden gems nestled in the foothills.

Registration is open from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the convention center parking lot in downtown Oroville. Departure is at 10:00 am, followed by the Bangor Park After-Party at 2:00 pm. Join us for a fun-filled day with beautiful scenery.

Oro Dam Cruisers, Inc

The Oro Dam Cruisers is a car club with a shared passion for classic cars, vintage hotrods, and having a good old time. Since its inception in 1996, the Oro Dam Cruisers’ Members were passionate about creating a car club where hot rod and classic car, and automotive enthusiasts could get together and show off their ride. Automobiles with old soles and restored vintage remain the primary focus of the club today.

The Oro Dam Cruisers have held the Gold Rush Car Show. This event was a community-wide car show that attracted car enthusiasts from all over the North State and beyond. The car show was located in the heart of the historical downtown during Oroville Feather Fiesta Days and now Salmon Festival. Beyond the flashy chrome and one-of-a-kind build, The Oro Dam Cruisers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization known for its community service and involvement. They have generously donated to the local high schools, Oroville Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, and the NorthWest SPCA, just to name a few. The Oro Dam Cruisers’ continue their legacy and community giveback through community car shows, drive-ins, and poker runs.
