Ecstatic Dance is an opportunity to connect with your body and community with free form expressive dance. We will be honoring the container of the space, which includes:
✨ limiting conversation on the dance floor, there will be a designated space and time to chat💖
✨ we invite you to explore the shoe-less experience of dancing barefoot on the Earth👣
✨this is a substance free event

Schedule:

6:30 PM Doors open to allow space to settle in.

7 PM Connection Circle, where we will be connecting to our breath, our bodies, our community, and the music, flowing into our open dance journey.

9 PM Closing Circle

 

Keenly attuned to the state-shifting nature of sound, Keena.Maya's DJ sets weave deep, rhythmic beats, trans-national invocations, & low-end frequencies.  

She fuses global bass, west coast bass, trap, UK dubstep, and lo-fi. 
The depths of her sound are incantations, drawing us deep down into our roots, grounding us into our bodies, invoking the incandescent deity within us to rise. 

Her sets can be often experienced at Ecstatic Dance.  

She is part of BAE - a New York based women's collective & mindful music label.  

She is one-half of the ritual bass project being((:))sound with her partner Joro-Boro.
