Class Description
The 910Rope class is geared for beginners who have never handled rope before and intermediates that want to work on their basic rope bondage skills. At the beginning of the class we will go over safety and the different types of rope used for bondage. Next part of the class we will teach you how to tie a single column cuff. A single column cuff is the first tie everyone needs to learn to be able to advance to all other types of rope bondage.
After you learn the cuff we will teach a basic decorative tie that will be the foundation for almost all types of decorative rope bondage. From there we will teach a simple chest harness. You do not need a partner for this class because we will teach you how to tie the cuff and the decorative tie on yourself. For the chest harness we have mannequins on hand to learn with or we encourage you to partner with another attendee to accomplish the harness.
For this class there may be times when we will be sitting on the floor so yoga mats are recommended, but not necessary. If you do not have your own rope there will be loaner rope available for everyone. There will be three teachers on hand so that attendees get plenty of one on one attention.
The goal of this rope class is to teach you the foundations of rope bondage to get you on the right path to learn a more advanced style of rope art.
About the Instructors
Chris Mattress
Chris started with rope in early 2015 at Lair De Sade's Wednesday night class and began volunteering at Club Awakening teaching basic rope bondage in late 2017. He has a passion for showing people how rope play works.
Sir Fin
Fin began his rope bondage journey in 2006 (before Google was a thing and before YouTube even existed) the same way as everyone else in those days: Learning everything on the playground.
Today, after extensive training, many photo shoots and public performances, and several professional credits including a 10 page spread in Hustlers Taboo magazine, Fin loves teaching kinbaku almost as much as he loves doing it.
