History Afoot Walking Tours are brought to you by the creators of the acclaimed interactive Salem witch trials theatre experience, Cry Innocent: the People versus Bridget Bishop,. You can now explore Salem on foot as historically costumed educators and licensed guides lead you through a one mile loop of Salem's history. Our popular tours are historical in nature and offer a personal look at Salem's 390 years.

History Afoot Walking Tours are approximately 75-90 minutes in length and are currently limited to 9 guests per tour. Tickets are $18 per person and reserved tours will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Advance ticket purchase is required. Walking tours take place rain or shine. No cancellations or refunds with less than 24 hours notice..

History Alive, Inc has taken the Salem Together Pledge. Guides and visitors are required to wear masks while on the History Afoot walking tour and throughout the downtown area of Salem.
