Description

A satanist cult leader is burnt alive by the local church. He vows to come back and haunts down, and enslave, every descendant of his congregation by the power of a book of blood contracts, in which they sold their souls to the devil.

The movie's disastrous reception arguably killed off director Fuest's career. Fuest had previously directed The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971), Dr. Phibes Rises Again (1972), and The Final Programme (1973). The Devil's Rain suffered such a critical drubbing that Fuest immediately was forced to retreat to television, directing several nondescript TV movies and series episodes over the years. He has made only one additional theatrical feature, Aphrodite (1982), a softcore sex romp shot in Greece.

We are also Northern California’s largest comedy school. The Comedy Spot is a program of Sacramento Comedy Foundation. Sacramento Comedy Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation (47-3441374). In addition to operating Sacramento Comedy Spot, the foundation supports the local comedy community and partners with other local charities to help them raise money through comedy show fundraisers. The foundation operates a youth improv program that provides training for kids, giving them an opportunity to develop confidence and be creative in a safe and supportive environment. The foundation also creates comedy-related events, like the Sacramento Stand-Up Competition and Sacramento Comedy Festival, that draw comedians and comedy fans to Sacramento.
