Description
Our society is more divided than ever, especially in this election year. Many have moved into viewing the world from an “us versus them” point of view. This divisiveness creates a laundry list of issues for individuals: loss of sense of community and belonging, mental health problems (anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide), fear, prejudice, and hatred, to name a few. The inspirational documentary A Case for Love presents the viewer with the information necessary to determine if living life more selflessly can cause positive change in themselves, in others, and throughout society.
Join us for a FREE screening of the movie and a panel discussion geared towards high school students and adults with local leaders and the film's Los Angeles based director afterwards. Reception following.
Presented by The Presbyterian Church of Traverse City benefiting Food Rescue of NW MI. (A free will donation collected to support this local agency sharing love in our community.)
