Celebrate International Women's Day with trailblazer Joan Roth and her daughter Melanie Roth Gorelick.
Joan Roth has dedicated her life to raising awareness of women’s plight and activism, which is the central focus of this film. Roth, herself a feminist icon, chose to prioritize making women visible. The film lifts up the experience of the women’s movement, advocates, and diverse Jewish women worldwide and is narrated by top feminist icons.
We'll begin with a screening of the film (runtime 30 minutes) followed by a conversation with Joan Roth (Photographer/Activist), Melanie Roth Gorelick (Producer/Writer), and Pamela French (Producer/Director), moderated by Susan Weidman Schneider, Editor-in-Chief and a founding mother of Lilith Magazine.
