Explore the intersection of art and music with an evening that celebrates women’s creativity across centuries. On December 5, from 6–7:30 PM, Iris Collective’s all-women ensemble will perform works by women composers in the heart of the Power and Absence exhibition at Memphis’ art museum.
Surrounded by artworks exploring themes of power and visibility on the lives and roles of women in Europe from 1500–1680, the performance will add a deeper dimension, with music composed and performed by women.
