Advent is a time of waiting, and of preparation for the birth of Jesus at Christmas. At the start of Advent, Ushaw is providing a day of reflection with an Advent theme.
Linking in with the theme of Ushaw’s exhibitions for the Advent period, the day will focus on angels and angelic encounters. Advent is a time of waiting and preparation. The Advent Day of Reflection is a day for quiet and prayer, a welcome escape from the busy period leading up to Christmas, and a chance to focus on the message of Christmas.
The day starts at 10.45am and finishes by 3.30pm. Bring your own lunch, or you can buy lunch in Ushaw’s café.
Tickets for the day cost £10, refreshments will be provided on arrival.
