Less than three years ago, three “young” women met each other as Phantoms in a production of The Rocky Horror Show at the Phoenix Theater. They were understudies to the leads (one went on, & dare we say, she crushed it). They are millennials. They dressed up as The Powerpuff Girls. They had a LOTR Extended Edition marathon on May the Fourth, because they could. They miraculously went to a Kesha concert on the correct date. But most importantly: their birthdays are within 30 days of each other. What better way to celebrate the passing of time, than with a cabaret? And not just any cabaret: an evening filled with songs of the roles they likely can’t be cast in anymore, because #old.
