All About Chickens EASTER FUN

Description

We are so EGG-cited to be hosting "All About Chickens" on Saturday, April 8th! Help us ring in the Spring season with a family fun workshop all about our favorite animals, CHICKENS! Executive director, Heather Mohr, will be teaching families how to care for chickens and why they are so important to our food system. This workshop will also include an Easter Egg hunt! Proceeds made during this workshop will help to support animal care on the farm and plans to build a "retirement coop" for our chickens unable to lay eggs. This event will also be the kick-off to our "adopt-a-chick" fundraiser, helping our farm to purchase a new clutch of baby chicks! 

Please note, space is limited! Families are welcome to bring snacks or lunch. The event will begin at 9:00am and will end promptly at 11:00am. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a friend.
