The Bristol Hills Historical Society promotes an appreciation for the rich history of the Bristol Hills area in Western New York’s Finger Lakes region. It is the historical society for the towns of Bristol and South Bristol, New York. Through educational and cultural programs, and with the support of its members, it protects and improves two of our towns' historic treasures, the 1846 Bristol Center church and the 1923 Bristol Springs Grange Hall. Sign up for free email newsletters, view our events calendar, and read about our towns' history at the society's website.
Description
The Bristol Hills Historical Society welcomes Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, best known for the theme song from the PBS documentary series The Civil War, “Ashokan Farewell,” on stage at our very own Bristol Springs Grange Hall. Jay and Molly are renowned performers whose shows are storytelling events celebrating American folk music and this couple’s unique place in it. Net proceeds benefit the Historical Society in its efforts to preserve the century-old Grange. Please be aware that our second-floor auditorium is not handicap-accessible.
All seats are general admission. WE ARE SOLD OUT!
We created a waitlist in the unlikely event that we have cancellations and can sell a few more tickets.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Music begins at 7 p.m.
