Description
Antigone faces execution for opposing the king’s decree that her brother remain unburied after he died in battle. This Greek classic feels as fresh and relevant today as it was over two thousand years ago. Antigone explores duties to the state versus family, and whether female autonomy is possible in a patriarchal society.
