Banana Block is a new living museum and events space set within a historic linen mill and inspired by the curious connections between Belfast and bananas. Peel the banana a little further and you’ll find a space for original ideas, creative learning and new connections. A space for celebrating eccentric histories and creating incredible futures.
Description
We are excited to share that Dean Black will be running a Residency Workshop with Belfast Playwright's Heather Martin on Saturday December 9th 2-4pm.
Dean Black is Banana Block's current Artist in Residence. During the 'For Folks Sake' residency, Dean will be working on their ongoing CLATCHEN project. They will be exploring themes of queer rurality, domesticity, and interspecies relationality through experimentation with textual, visual and architectural intervention.
