Auxum Folk Ensemble - Live from The Lounge

Join us for an unforgettable evening of folk music live from our newly refurbished Francis Thompson Lounge.

Axum is an eight-piece folk band from the north-east of England. They bring traditional tunes from around the

British Isles and beyond performed in lush new arrangements. They are available for formal seated concerts, festivals and background music at events.

Performances have included: Beamish Open Air Museum May Day Celebrations; Tall Ships Blyth; Tall Ships

Sunderland; The Sage Late Shows; Seaton Delaval Hall; Ushaw Historic House; Sunderland River Festival;

Jesmond Festival; various summer fayres.
