Recalled Productions, a local comedy troupe and comic promotions venture, will host a comedy charity show featuring stand up comedy and live music in order to raise donations for Valley Haven Emergency Children’s Shelter

 

Valley Haven Inc. is a dedicated emergency children’s shelter located in Harlingen, Texas. As the only emergency shelter in Cameron County and the largest in the Rio Grande Valley, Valley Haven provides a safe haven for abused, neglected, and abandoned children, ages newborn to 17 years old. These children are often removed from their homes by Child Protective Services due to unsafe conditions.

 

At Valley Haven, the mission is to offer a nurturing and empowering environment where children can heal and grow. The shelter ensures that all emotional and physical needs of the children are met 24/7, providing them with the stability and care they need during difficult times. Valley Haven is committed to shaping the future of these young lives by teaching them social responsibility, healthy living, and cultural acceptance

 

Recalled Productions has been a staple in Stand Up Comedy scene in the Rio Grande Valley and has provided entertainment to our RGV natives for the last 9 years. Their for goal is to use the power of comedy to help raise awareness as well as donations for Valley Haven

Three of the seven comics that will be performing are founding members Roy Alex Gomez, Humberto Moreno and Joseph Soto. The trio just finished performing at the recent South Texas Comic Con providing comedy for all the VIP ticket holders. And we’re a part of the main cast for The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit, a play by Ray Bradbury that PCT recently produced. They have also been organizing local comedy shows at The Pharr Community Theater since 2023.

Others in the line-up include Tivi  Lopez, Maya Soto, Lalo Hinojosa, and Humberto Moreno.

 

The show night, is at Gargoyles Academia, 303 East Broadway Unit B in Elsa Texas. Advance tickets are available online for $5. $10 at the door day of show. Tickets can be purchased with Roy Alex Gomez. 

 

Garnered proceeds will go to Valley Haven Inc for school supplies and expenses
