Join us for our all new, hands-on Straw Bale Gardening Workshop, where you'll discover how to transform your gardening space using this eco-friendly method! We will be creating Salad Bales, Pizza Party Bales or Rainbow Bales (choose your own mix). Whether you're a gardening pro or a first-timer, we'll walk you through the process of preparing your straw bales, selecting the right plants, and creating a healthy environment for your garden to flourish.
At Fitchburg Farms, we love to explore new ways to brighten up your space, and straw bale gardening is a perfect way to grow vibrant plants while conserving water and improving soil health. You’ll leave this workshop with practical knowledge, troubleshooting tips, and a fully planted, practice straw bale!
You’ll receive a selection of 3 different plant starts from our collection and a mini-bale to plant with us. Come ready to get your hands dirty, learn something new, and bring your garden visions to life!
Salad bales: 4-pack of salad or cabbage seedlings.
Pizza Party: Tomato, Basil, and Oregano.
Rainbow bale: 3-4 seedlings of your choice
