Virginia Youth Ballet presents Beauty & the Beast ballet. We are excited to announce we will be offering our supporters a virtual ticket that will allow you to view the live performance from the comfort of your home for $20 per show.
A long time ago in a far-off land lived a merchant and his daughters. The youngest daughter, Beauty, was the envy of her two spoiled sisters. Before leaving on a trip, the father asked his daughters what gifts they would like to receive. The sisters replied with a long list of items they desired, but Beauty’s only request was a single rose. Beauty’s father picked a beautiful rose from a garden to give to her upon his return. Unbeknownst to him, the rose was owned by a hideous Beast. Enraged that the father had stolen his rose, he demanded that Beauty be given to him in exchange for the rose. At first, Beauty was sickened with fear and disgust for the Beast, but time softened her heart toward the Beast and her feelings gradually changed. Beauty’s love transformed the once repulsive Beast into a handsome Prince.
The live stream, via YouTube, will began approximately 15 minutes prior to the show starting. The link is valid for use on one device. The performance will last approximately 1 hour.
Your live stream link will be sent to the email you provide during checkout. A digital copy of the performance program will be emailed to you, closer to the show date.
NOTE: This will be streamed live for your selected performance, so please plan to watch the performance at that time.
