The Walter Paisley Movie House will be kicking off Beers and Reels with a double feature this month!
A scourge is overtaking our youth and corrupting middle America. It goes by many names: maryjane, buddah, ganga, giggle-smokes, or reefer... more commonly known as, Marijuana! Won't someone please think of the children?!
First up, it's the Encyclopedia Brittanica Educational Film "Drug Addiction." Thrill as Marty goes from small time reefer smoker to flailing heroin addict, all while maintaining his boyish good looks. Then, it's the 1949 must-see, "She Shoulda Said No!" Featuring disgraced film noire maven, Lila Leeds as chorus girl Anne Lester. She wanted to be a star, but the Devil's lettuce has other plans. Follow her on her downward spiral of depravity.
