It's three shows in one as What If Theatre celebrates local improv! We've got great teams from across Denver and Boulder, all on one stage!

BETTY is an unplanned cavalcade of characters that your favorite aunt would be best friends with. 

Improv meets storytelling in JOHNNY ANYBODY, where tag-team monologues kick off a show that builds to quick scenes filled with memorable and quirky characters. 

WELCOME TO THE DOJO takes a suggestion and uses it to explore universal themes from everyday life. They ensure  you will come away having had some good solid laughter. (If you aren't sure what solid laughter is now, you will be afterwards!)

What If Theatre is dedicated to the art of improvisational theatre - which is a fancy way of saying, we do improvised plays. Not everything we do is funny. We aim for authenticity, but the truth comes first.  The funny thing is: that usually means humor is close on its heels!

We feature a variety of improv from the Denver & Boulder areas in addition to producing our own shows - and we welcome storytelling, magic, sketch, and other acts on our stage. We also feature amazing local art on our walls. Come check out our space! You will find it homey and warm, with the comfiest seats in Denver performing arts!
