Billy Keane is a wanderer, a taker of the scenic route. To live lightly, to be human,

to be a truth seeker, to live a life of empathetic expression and creativity – these

are the foundations of Billy’s life philosophy and can be found thematically

throughout much of his writing.

Billy’s sound – a blending of neo folk/Americana with Indie Rock and Country – is

inspired by his life, his listening, his belief that to be human means to experience

the universe and our world, its people, and to reflect all that back upon itself

through artistic expression. He can be found performing his resounding anthemic

songs either as a solo act with an acoustic guitar, or in a full band setup reflective

of his most recent album, Too Much to Let it Go.

Billy’s musical legacy has taken him to festivals all over the country, and he has had

the honor of sharing the stage with household name like: James Taylor, YoYo Ma,

The Gin Blossoms, Blues Traveler, and many others, at venues as wide ranging as

MassMoca, The Greenriver Fest in MA, The Kate Wolf Fest in California, and various

other festivals, concert halls and legendary folks clubs such as Cambridge’s Club

Passim, Saratoga Springs’ Caffe Lena, NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall, LA’s Hotel Café,

and San Francisco’s Hotel Utah.

The Guthrie Center

The Guthrie Center seeks to cultivate cultural preservation, promote educational achievement and foster community outreach to meet the ongoing needs of the community.

Founded in 1991 by Arlo Guthrie to honor the legacy of his parents, Woody Guthrie and Marjorie Mazia-Guthrie. The Guthrie Center offers interfaith services and spiritual exchange. Bringing individuals together for cultural, educational, and spiritual exchange. We work together with other non-profit agencies to serve those in need. In doing so we hope to create an environment where individuals can come together to cultivate a deeper awareness of culture, humanity and the environment of which we are all a part.
