Join Binding Agents, JNA Institute of Culinary Arts and Edible Philly for an evening with Christina Tosi in honor of her new book, Bake Club: 101 Must-Have Moves for Your Kitchen.
However you found your way to Christina Tosi (maybe from Milk Bar, Chef's Table: Pastry, Bake Squad or Master Chef) you’ll find a high kick, a high five, random smiles or life hacks in her Bake Club. First it was a little corner of the Internet dedicated to creating magic inside the kitchen and out, and now it's a beautiful new book perfect for newbies and seasoned pros, ages 10 and 100, sweet tooths and savory sorts. The recipes are simple, inviting and eminently bakeable, no fancy ingredients or equipment required—and modifications very much allowed!
Christina will be in conversation with Margaret Eby, Deputy Food editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer and author of the forthcoming book You Gotta Eat: Real Life Strategies for Feeding Yourself When Cooking Feels Impossible. The talk will be followed by a book signing.
Tickets for this event are general admission; doors will open at 5:30pm and the talk will start promptly at 6pm. Ticket prices are inclusive of service fees.
NOTE: This event will be held on the second floor of the JNA Culinary Institute (1212 S. Broad St.). The building does not have an elevator. Please contact us at hello@bindingagentsphilly.com if this prevents you from attending in person; we will be glad to make alternate experience arrangements.
