Celebrate the New Year at Blue Dragon Tavern's Bubbles & Bling NYE Party with a special double billing of Uncle Charlie & BASS BIAS! Both bands will perform the late show from 9pm-12am (8:30pm doors), with BASS BIAS performing the first set, followed by Uncle Charlie...then both bands will unite for an all-out jam to take us to the Big Countdown at midnight! Tickets are $35 in advance...$45 at the door.
Psychedelic rock band Uncle Charlie is known for their mind-bending improvisational jams, and every show promises to be a unique experience. Uncle Charlie breathes new life into the music of the Grateful Dead...putting their own unique spin on the songs. The band features Steve Fundy on guitar, Warren Nelson on keys, Dave Ojeda on bass, and Tim Taylor on drums.
BASS BIAS features the dynamic bass playing duo of Delphina Dorrance on upright bass and Dave Ojeda on electric bass. These two bassists blend together seamlessly elements of rock, reggae, jazz, blues, folk, and country to create a sound all their own. BASS BIAS covers a wide variety of artists from Bob Marley to the White Stripes, and also performs original songs penned by Delphina. Joining them will be Jonathan Brooke on guitar, Tim Taylor on drums, and Warren Nelson on keyboard.
