Boku Frequency - Guitarist Terry “Redeye Dread” Gums and bassist Thomas “Too Sharp” Harris have been playing psychedelic funk rock in Duluth for 20 years as Boku Frequency. Various drummers have occupied the stool behind them over the decades, the latest being Elliot “Backbeat” Harris. The lean, mean, down-in-the-groove power trio combines its members’ styles with influences including James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Isaac Hayes, War, Sly and the Family Stone, Santana, the Isley Brothers and a whole lot of other 1960s and ’70s powerhouses.

 

Alexander Craig - With gusto and American grit Alex brings a high energy fusion of Rock n' Roll, Soul, Punk and Blues music to the scene. His confident and welcoming presence on stage inspires audience engagement making shows memorable. Between '08-'18 he wrote and produced five albums under the alias Crankshaft. During that period he opened for many acts including John Fogerty, George Thorogood and ZZ Top. His artistic evolution eventually led to dropping the persona.

 

Shane Nelson is a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer who has been following his artistic instincts to create since he was a child. Nelson started performing at school and community events when he was 8 years old. In his teens, Nelson built the band, “Crescent Moon”. Along with his band, Shane has earned recognition as one of the Northland’s top local musical acts by winning several battle of the bands competitions, being voted the Northland’s best live musical act by local radio stations, and through live performances throughout the Midwest. Nelson’s band has performed alongside nationally recognized acts such as Survivor, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Confederate Railroad.
