Book Swap

Description

Calling all bookworms and book dragons! Join us for a morning of coffee, cupcakes, books, and friends. 

 

To Bring: 

For this event, bring a gently used book (or up to three books) that you enjoyed, or think that others would find entertaining. Also, while this event is provided by Living Out of Focus free of charge, we do kindly ask that you bring a $5 donation for the library, as they are graciously allowing us to use their space. As an added bonus, if you would like to participate in a puzzle swap as well, please bring a puzzle that you would like to trade.

 

What to Expect: 

First, we will cozy down with some coffee and cupcakes. Once everyone is finished eating and we've had a chance to chat and nerd-out about our favorite reads, we will play a fun swapping game and trade around our books (and puzzles). Additional games will be played for prizes, and there will be a bookmark making station. And last but not least, a drawing for a grand prize will also take place!! But even though there can be only one grand prize winner, everyone will go home with a new-to-them book (or more, depending how many were originally brought), as well as fun tchotchkes, and a crafted bookmark. 

 

Grand Prize: 

• Metal bookmark by The Bookish Atelier
• A fancy cloth book sleeve
• A blind date with a book (mystery book)
• Mini jigsaw puzzle

Come join the fun, and don't forget to bring a book, or two, or three... (and a puzzle).
