Borrowed Time is a comedy showcase featuring a double-headers of indie improv teams. Each show features different improv acts not produced by Crossroads, so it’s a chance to see some stuff you might not otherwise get to see.

Wet Blanket is a long form improv team that formed from a Crossroads Education Center class in December 2019. The team consist of Charlie Affel, Jillian Kelechava, Laura O'Mara, Ryan Staudt, Andrew Sweet & Samantha Taylor.
Scooter Practice
Scooter Practice is THE Philly improv team you need to see. With infectious energy and a flair for the absurd, this group of performers has been building a following since 2019 thanks to their unique approach to improv comedy. The intimate team dynamic and just the right amount of audience participation makes for a truly unforgettable (and inexplicable) experience. The time is now - grab a ticket and meet them at the theater! The team consists of Hannah Burks, Alix Griffin, Melanie Lynch, Brendann Murphy & Sahil Jaya. VENUE INFO: The Skinner Studio at Plays and Plays is a third floor walk-up. There are no elevators or mobility devices on-site.
COVID-19 INFO: An N95, KN95 or surgical mask is encouraged while in the building. If you do not have one a disposable surgical mask will be provided.

Crossroads Comedy Theater is a roaming home in Philly for comedy shows, podcasts, comedy classes, and more! Shows feature hilarious performers from the Philadelphia area and beyond. Classes are taught by the bes instructors in the Philly area who are passionate about making you a better at whatever your focus is. Crossroads is available for private shows, improv workshops, or other things you might have in mind. We are now starting very limited operations in Indianapolis as well!
