Description

The task is stirring the cauldron... all day, every day. This family of witch sisters must attend to the cauldron and keep it stirring- if they stop, something could happen to one of their sisters. Some have taken this task very seriously- dedicating their lives to the goal. Others have left- abandoning their duty to their family. When Roxette brings her girlfriend home and gathers everyone together old grievances bubble up, setting into motion an impossible moral struggle. Not to mention the fact that this family knows how to fight with their fists. This is a play about family, brutality, female rage, and the dark art of obligation.
