Brian Swinehart is an American actor, writer, stand-up comedian, and award- winning producer. He has performed for twenty years at the most reputable comedy venues across the country. Brian is recognized as an astute observer of current social issues, as well as a heartfelt storyteller. His work has been largely informed by decades of writing and acting experience in Hollywood.
Brian has worked with such luminaries as Danny Aello in the TV Pilot Broken Dreams, a comedic role opposite Kevin Hart in the Steve Pink directed film About Last Night. He has been the stand-in for Matthew McConaughey in the movie Lincoln Lawyer, for Josh Holloway in the TV show Colony, and for the late Paul Walker. Brian acted in the film The Tarot, directed by Peter Hyoguchi, and appeared in three national commercials, including two coveted Super Bowl spots.
Brian wrote and produced the highly acclaimed film Burning Shadow, lauded across the festival circuit, which starred famed French actress, Julie Delpy.
In 2018, Brian returned to his roots in Ohio to write and direct an inspiring short film for the Easter Seals Disability Film Challenge, starring his friend who has Down syndrome Dennis Scooby Wiloughby. A debut actor, Scooby was nominated for best actor, and the entire town of Covington, Ohio, rallied to send Scooby to walk the
Hollywood red carpet at this special event.
In 2018 Brian also suffered a boating accident, which resulted in the loss of tips of his right middle and ring fingers. Brian was quickly back on the stand-up stage, turning his literal pain into humor. This accident also inspired him to enter a wrestling tournament for ages eighteen and up; Brian was a state wrestler in High School and member of the Junior Olympic team, twenty years prior! His incredible journey of redemption was made into a documentary by legendary Dutch filmmaker Ismael Lotz, called I Cleaned My Room.
In 2020 Brian left Hollywood as the tyrannical and corrupt Governor of California Gavin Newsom used Covid to push unconstitutional laws on the citizens of the Golden State. Swinehart whose father was a prominent Defense attorney has never been afraid to speak his mind and stand up for what is right! Even if it means ruffling some feathers. Despite threats from Hollywood elitists that he would be cancelled for not wearing a mask or taking a vax, Swinehart pushed on. Brian moved back to his small town of Covington Ohio where common sense prevails.
During the covid experiment he went to any place that would allow gatherings including performing in barns, garages, and wrestling practices. During this time he crafted a set designed to fight back at the bad guys who were attempting to destroy our way of life including Anthony Fauci, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
The whole experience made him a stronger person and performer. In the year 2024 he is moving full speed ahead as acting jobs are once again being offered to him, he has a new movie script in development and his comedy tour Brian Swinehart Saves America is filling seats across the country.
There is no stopping this guy!
