Join us for a lively conversation on collecting art with Dr. Liz Andrews, Executive Director of Spelman College Museum of Fine Art and co-curator of Black American Portraits, and Bernard Lumpkin, contemporary art collector, patron, and educator. Discussion moderated by Rachel Knox, Senior Program Officer - Thriving Arts & Culture, Hyde Family Foundation. Presented in conjunction with the exhibitions Black American Portraits at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and Young, Gifted, and Black: The Lumpkin-Boccuzzi Family Collection of Contemporary Art at Clough-Hanson Gallery, Rhodes College.
