This star of Amigurumi Treasures Volume 1 stands out from the flock! This handsome fellow is a hit with our shop visitors, and we're finally offering a class to help you make a sheep of your very own. If you're ready to up your amigurumi crochet game, join us for this three week class to make your own Burbury the Sheep. We'll cover advanced options for working your amigurumi stitches, including alternative increase and decreases, as well as sewing up your projects and working Burbury's embellished fleece.
Students should be comfortable with the basics of crochet. Familiarity with the magic ring or similar adjustable crochet base is recommended.
Your class fee includes instruction fees, a PDF copy of the pattern from Treasures Vol 1, three skeins of Queensland Coastal Cotton in your choice of colors, safety eyes and stuffing. Students will also need a size H (5mm) crochet hook, scissors, and a tapestry needle.
While our group classes are open to students aged 7 and up, we ask that all children under 14 be accompanied by a responsible adult on the premises for the duration of class.
Please note that registration fees are non-refundable. Transfer may be available to another session of the same class up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time. While we make every effort to accommodate emergency changes in your schedule, we cannot guarantee availability in other class sessions or make-up instruction beyond the scheduled office hours announced in class.
