The Asheville Brewer's Alliance, Arts AVL, Asheville-Buncombe Hotel Association, Go Local Asheville and the Asheville Independent Restaurant Association are teaming up to host a Candidate Form for Asheville City Council and Buncombe County Commission Candidates on Wednesday, September 25 from 5:30-7:30pm at The Orange Peel. Host organizations have developed questions for candidates based on our member's top priorities for their businesses and workforce. 


Candidates confirmed to attend include:

County Commission

  1. Paul Benjamin, Buncombe County Commissioner District 1
  2. Jennifer Horton, Buncombe County Commissioner District 1
  3. Bruce O’Connell, Buncombe County Commissioner District 2
  4. Terri Wells, Buncombe County Commissioner District 2

City Council 

  1. CJ Domingo
  2. Kevan Frazier
  3. Bo Hess
  4. Tod Leaven
  5. Kim Roney, incumbent
  6. Sage Turner, incumbent


The League of Woman Voters will register attendees to vote., and Spanish interpretation will be available. 103.3 Asheville FM will livestream the event.


Parking is available on the street or in the City's Biltmore Avenue Garage, accessed by either Biltmore Avenue or Lexington Avenue.
