1010 Dale Street NorthThis class will cover basic car maintenance, like how to check your tire pressure, check fluids like oil and transmission fluid, replace wiper blades, replace light bulbs and change air filters. It will also cover some basic mechanical principles, like how to spot brake failures, check tire life, decode check engine lights, spot belt failures, check battery health and other automotive conditions.
This 90 minute session will include hands-on demonstrations, and will involve getting down on the ground to look under a vehicle, and will include a question and answer period.
Instructor Tim Nelson is a lifelong do it yourselfer, mechanic, welder and tinkerer.
