Description

Immediately after the October 7th attack, Stephen Wise Free Synagogue collected emergency funds to distribute to organizations aiding survivors and those displaced.

One of our recipients, the Reform community of the Megiddo Region, mobilized immediately, opening their community as a refuge of shelter and care for hundreds of displaced Gaza Envelope residents.

One year later, join us to hear directly from the community's leaders, Rabbi Michal Ken Tor and lay leader Yael Saslove Shani, as they discuss the evolution of their efforts and their hopeful vision for the future.
