Cast iron is an amazing cooking medium, but we understand how intimidating it can be. Want to learn how to put this iconic cooking pan to great use?
In this class, you’ll discover the versatility and durability of cast iron cookware. Our chef instructor will take the guesswork out of seasoning and cleaning it as well as show you how to celebrate the mysterious quality cast iron adds to your cooking.

What To Expect
Great cooking is about more than just recipes—it's about celebrating culinary experiences with a foodie community. In this class, you'll learn with other students in a positive, interactive environment led by our professional chef instructor.
- Instructor: Chef Yukari
- Length: Approximately 3 hours.
- Format: Demonstration. Class will be taught by the chef instructor, with the opportunity for class members to be invited into the kitchen and assist with certain portions of the recipes. Everyone in the class will be able to enjoy the menu items made during the class.
- Location: First Floor.
- Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Experience Options
- Premium Experience: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class and enjoy a seasonal appetizer as well as your choice of one complimentary glass of beer, wine, or soft drink. (additional drinks available for purchase) Also spend a few private minutes with our chef instructor!
- General Admission: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class to enjoy cocktail hour at NTTC's fully-stocked bar.
- Allergies: We will attempt to accommodate any true medical allergy with advance notice. Please indicate allergies when completing ticket purchase.
- Allergy Restrictions: Unfortunately, there are no gluten free alternatives for this menu.
