Description

As we emerge from the icy depths of winter, a lot of us find ourselves ready to release fear induced energies and attachments from the last two years. Transitioning out of lower states of being, our bodies and spirits long for a release of these energies to make room for love and light.

We present CATHARSIS, an immersive music and art experience. A enticing dreamworld created to get you into your body, release stagnant energy, and open your spirit to the possibilities that lie ahead. 

Through creative expressions of music, dance, fire performance, interactive art activations and visual arts the minds behind Dance With Plants and Mx.FX Production look forward to reconnecting our communities and dazzling the senses while featuring the Hudson Valley’s most fabulous creatives.

Costumes and LEWKS are strongly encouraged! This is a safe space to express yourself however your heart desires. Live in your fantasy for the night! We're looking for over the top, fierce, furry, fluffy, gender bender, colorful, bizzare, sexy, whatever is reflective of your highest self. Come out and SHINE! We want to see you feeling youself!

Event will be held outdoors from 6-10 pm and move into The Tavern at Glen Falls House from 10 pm - 2 am. Outdoor areas will remain open through out entire event.

Location: The Glen Falls house in Round Top, New York is our host for the night! The beautiful venue is a timeless catskills hotel for young travelers and old friends alike. They’ve created a space that blends classic charm and quirky design, for the people who enjoy quiet morning hikes as much as late-night concerts in the tavern. a cozy escape with a lively spirit.

• Dance With Plants is a safe space for ALL. Honor and respect all those in attendance. INCLUSIVITY and SELF EXPRESSION are very important to us. We welcome all identities, backgrounds, and walks of life. 
• Consent! Everyone has different comfort levels when dancing, touching or even interacting in the world today. Practice consent and ensure you get an enthusiastic YES before making physical contact or moving into someones personal space.
• If at any point in the evening you need assistance, look for staff members in LED wristbands. We are here to support.
• Leave No Trace. Bring a water bottle for refilling at our free water station. Cups at the bar will be biodegradable but not refillable. Garbage and recycling bins are placed through out the space. Please use them.
• Do not attend if you are feeling sick. You accept the risk of being exposed to or contracting COVID-19 along with all consequences resulting from exposure or infection.
