Description
Are you wanting to increase your skills in the kitchen? Do you want to learn about food budgeting, prep and then share time with friends? This Skills Building Group is for you! Join Jess in our CommonFare Kitchen to work in a group around all things food.
Our second kitchen skills fall session will focus on Kitchen Tours.
We will include a couple of time slots to do local kitchen tours in preparation for workplace environments.
October 20- Hearty Vegetarian, Meal: 5 Bean Chili & Garlic bread (scheduled kitchen tour)
October 27- Comfort food meal prep, Meal: shepards pie
November 3- 10$ dinner for 4, Meal: fettuccine alfredo
November 10- Knife skills, Meal: Homemade stuffed bread loafs
November 17- Forget bout' it, Meal: Meatloaf (Scheduled kitchen tour)
November 24- For the soul, Meal: Chicken Soup & Grilled cheese
10am - 1pm LUNCH PROVIDED
Community safety skills, Basic kitchen safety REQUIRED
$396 for all 6 dates.
