Standing as the premiere haunted attraction in the region, we are composed solely of Film/TV,
Theater, and Entertainment Industry professionals.
We are a collaboration between Opera House Theater Company with artistic director and entrepreneur Justin Smith at the helm, and Bearded Skulls MUFX Group, comprising of veteran Make-Up / SPFX Make-Up Artists Rick Pour, Jason Willis, Tony Rosen, Jeff Goodwin, and Matt Barrett.
Rounding out the immediate team are theatrical construction specialists Terry Collins & Michelle Ponton, Riley Oates overseeing administrative operations, and product designer Reagan Simon as the creative behind our brand, digital content, and illustration.
Actors from the Opera House Theater Company, along with other regional talent, will be bringing the attraction’s characters to life, while the Bearded Skulls (Scream, The Black Phone, Mr. Mercedes, The Conjuring, Blue Velvet) have written the story and created the horrors within.
Volunteer Make-Up & FX Artists Jordan Starbuck, Christina Sinibaldi, Delanie Gilliss, & Veronica Schaefer have been instrumental in realizing our vision, working tirelessly in the Bearded Skulls shop.
Long-time film industry SPFX Coordinators Jeff Loy & Dave Hill are also driving forces behind creating our immersive world and bringing the haunt to fruition.
Shawn Lewallen, Derek Tindall, Sean Yaple, and Patrick Borowiak, Wilmington based Camera Dept. veterans, add to our video promotion and marketing strategy, utilizing their seasoned talents to offer visual accompaniment to the unfolding written tale of the Chapel online.
The package is completed with the addition of Locations Manager Brooke Barnhill and Payroll/Accounting gurus Emily Fulbright & Erin Hunter, working fiercely on the frontline and behind the scenes.
Port City Fear Factory plans to host at least three unique horror-themed events seasonally throughout the year.
