Description

Biloxi Little Theatre is excited to announce the boys are back in town - just in time for Christmas!

BLAKE McIVER (Full House, The Little Rascals) and EMERSON COLLINS (A Very Sordid Wedding, Southern Baptist Sissies) starred together in four seasons of BRAVO’s hit social series The People’s Couch and a national tour of their hit show “I DREAMED A DREAMGIRL” and now they return with “CHRISTMAS ACTUALLY” just in time for the holidays!

Emerson loves Christmas, Blake is…unconvinced. CHRISTMAS ACTUALLY is a two-man tour de force as they share their loves and hates of the holidays from classic holiday songs and medleys to the Christmas hits of today.  From Barbra, Elvis and The Carpenters to Kacey Musgraves and Kelly Clarkson, there’s a bit of pop, a bit of rock, and a bit of something for everyone who loves the music of the holidays. And of course, an unnecessary mega-medley to finally decide once and for all – is Love Actually a Christmas movie?!

Between them, Emerson and Blake have performed, produced, hosted and won awards in studio and independent film, network and cable television, national tours, radio, studio recording, soundtracks, countless benefits and every kind of theatre!

Blake has three decades of entertainment experience (and wears it wearily well) from winning Junior Vocalist Champion on Star Search, the US Premiere production of Ragtime and of course The Little Rascals and Full House.  Emerson was featured in RENT: LIVE on FOX, the first regional premiere of Buyer & Cellar and produced and starred in Southern Baptist Sissies, A Very Sordid Wedding and LOGO’s Sordid Lives: The Series.

Located in east Biloxi, the playhouse is housed in a historic building at 220 Lee Street, south of the Biloxi Kroc Center and north of the Deer Island cut. Parts of the building date to the 1890's. Amenities include handicapped parking and accessibility, dual air conditioning and heating, and lighted and patrolled parking areas.

Hurricane Katrina devastated the district, and the theatre was seriously damaged. A major renovation took place and improvements are ongoing to this day.

We work to make Biloxi Little Theatre uncommon. We produce plays that other local theatres won’t. We don’t edit our plays for content, and we offer a wide array of material. We work hard to keep our prices reasonable. We offer discounted tickets for seniors, students, and active military. We also offer season tickets at various levels, program advertising, and production sponsorship.

The arts are what make any community an interesting place to live, and Biloxi Little Theatre has been a part of the local arts scene since 1946. For over 20 years we’ve offered summer teen shows; now we’re offering programs for younger children; and we’re always ready to take a shot at something new. Come join us! Buy a ticket; encourage your friends to do the same! Work back stage, volunteer in the lobby, audition for a part! And help us spread the word about just how special theatre can be!
