Building a Bridge for Navy Innovation
Please join us for a collaborative dialogue between the NavalX Central Florida Tech Bridge at Tech Grove in Orlando, Florida, and the NavalX Southern Maryland Tech Bridge at TechPort in Patuxent River, Maryland. This event will feature Captain Kevin "Tripper" McGee, Program Manager, Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges (PMA-205), and Mr. Gregory Ouellette, Program Director for Aviation, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD). They will be discussing the relationship between NAWCTSD and PMA-205, the future of their programs, and give valuable insight into how they would like to work with industry to provide the warfighter with the best training environments.
PMA-205 provides full life cycle acquisition of naval aviation platform and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers to provide U.S. Navy and Marine Corps pilots, naval flight officers, aircrew, and maintainers with the training equipment required to provide lethal capability and operational readiness.
NAWCTSD is the principal Navy center for research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, and product support of training systems for the Navy and for providing Inter-service coordination and training systems support for the Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force.
There will be no FAR acquisition information shared during this event, nor information on any projects currently under contract. In-person attendance at each location will be limited to 45 (first come first serve) with an additional virtual option where viewers can ask questions in the chat. The format for this event is interactive rather than a one-way sharing of information.
