Description

Join us at the farm for a 2-part creative workshop with two of our favourite things...ceramics and flowers!

Pick

When you arrive we'll head out into the flower fields to pick a beautiful small arrangement of flowers in your favourite colours. We'll guide you on how to harvest and arrange your flowers in a lovely tin pitcher to take home (approx. 1 hour).

Clay

We'll then head into the flower studio where participants will make 2 -3 beautiful bud vases with guest ceramicist Asya from the Glazed and Confused Studio. Asya will expertly guide you on hand-building techniques as we discuss form, function and designing with clay (approx. 2 hours).

After the workshop your bud vases will be carefully dried, glazed and fired and available to collect from the Hobart 'Glazed & Confused' Studio in Hobart. This will be approx 4 -6 weeks after the workshop and participants will notified by email when they are ready to collect. Postage is available for an additional cost.

This fun floral inspired workshop includes refreshments, clay, tools, glaze and firing, along with a beautiful pitcher of fresh seasonal flowers to take home on the day.

Earthenry Flower Farm

Here at Earthenry we grow over 100 different varieties of gorgeous seasonal flowers all nestled amongst beautiful gardens to explore during our open season events (October to April). Located in Lower Snug we are only a 25 minute drive south of Hobart and 5 mins from the Bruny Island ferry terminal.

From January to March, when our flowers are at their peak, we open weekly for 'Pick Your Own Flowers' and picnics on the lawns. Our Friday night twilight sessions with food, drinks and music are our most popular!

You can also book into one of our inspiring creative floral workshops or learn how we grow our flowers by attending one of our practical farming workshops. Our community volunteer gardening program Garden + Gossip runs every Friday during the off-season and welcomes new members!
