This event will feature a cocktail reception from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, followed by a panel discussion from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The discussion will delve into the potential benefits and challenges associated with the growth of this mega-region, exploring critical questions such as:

  • How can San Antonio and Austin collaborate effectively for mutual benefit?
  • What infrastructure and policy considerations are needed to ensure sustainable growth?
  • How can both cities address potential challenges related to affordability, transportation, and economic development?

We are thrilled to welcome a distinguished panel of experts to lead this conversation:

  • Henry Cisneros: Former Mayor of San Antonio and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development,  Author of "The Texas Triangle: An Emerging Power in the Global Economy"
